Ariva 4K A99376 combines features of DVB-S/S-2 receiver and multimedia player. The device ensures highest video quality both in the case of 4K UHD ultra-high resolution and Full HD content. The operation system of Ariva 4K is Android Lollipop, popular version of Android which gives the user access to the Internet and full content of Google Play store with a wealth of applications (games, utilities, and VOD, music, information services). The receiver can be controlled with the included remote control or via dedicated application that facilitates and speeds up access to all functions of the device. Additionally, the application allows users to watch TV on their smartphones or tablets, directly from the receiver.
Ariva 4K provides full support for Kodi Media Center, a home-theater application for playing and viewing most streaming media, such as videos, music, podcasts, and videos from the internet, as well as all common digital media files from local and network storage media. The device also ensures cooperation with a wide range of Video On Demand (VOD) services, including Netflix and HBO GO. Ariva 4K is equipped with CA card reader for pay-TV and has space for a hard drive for TimeShift and content recording.
A family multimedia center with the ability to display photos, videos and play music from a smartphone or tablet on the connected television can be created with the use of DLNA, Miracast and AirPlay functions.
A broad spectrum of communication protocols available in Ariva 4K gives the user freedom and convenience of use. Ariva 4K offers Dualband Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4/5 GHz and Ethernet LAN port. Additionally, Bluetooth connectivity can be used for connecting a keyboard, mouse or any other device supporting this technology.

H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is a video compression standard developed as the successor to H.264/MPEG-4 AVC. HEVC has doubled the data compression rate compared to predecessor, while maintaining the same image quality. HEVC supports resolutions up to 8192 × 4320, so is able to encode and decode UHDTV streams.
